Disclaimer: This episode may be emotionally taxing and toiling - as we know that sometimes talking about job hunting is extremely difficult for some.
There’s always a mixture of relief and dread during our studies about the next stages - getting hired by a firm. For some, it was relatively straightforward in meeting those expectations. However, for me and Shaun, we graduated during the period in which our industry suffered economically, which resulted in us spending nearly two years (or more) finding ‘employment’ within the architecture industry. Of course, keeping our hopes up wasn't easy - and when plan a didn’t work out for us, what were our plan b’s or c’s? And of course, during our lowest moments, did we consider giving up altogether?
This episode is dedicated to Just for Laughs - Job Hunting Be Like This; Hanging on by the thread of Sanity During Unemployment
Notes:
Below are websites I’ve used as well as being introduced to during job hunting for an architecture-related job.
Other places we’d like to recommend - see Defence, Building / Engineering Firms, Developer Firms.

About Season 4// Hero Phenomena
Hero Phenomena is dedicated to the paradigm shift experienced during my architecture studies - as well as a tribute to the core essays in which this blog was primarily built on. Season 4 of Archemist Podcast will be a continuation and expansion on the thoughts and essays written throughout the past four years of written entries and my architecture studies. Be prepared for a symphony of discourses that can either reassures or confronts interlaced with tones of idealism, cynicism, optimism, and self-doubt as that’s what growing up is about - messy but wonderful all at once.
