The Archemist Podcast
“We’re all victims of the architect. Architecture is the only art that you can’t help but feel. You can avoid paintings, you can avoid music, and you can even avoid history. But good luck getting away from architecture...”
- Humans of New York, Brandon Stanton (14 October, 2014)
Inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York Caption, ‘The Archemist Podcast’ aims to open conversations with those who are interested in architecture whether they are involved in the industry or not. Acting as an extension to the blog this is an audio journal of thoughts and discussions with my friends. Here, we examine ongoing affairs that are may have some relationship with architecture.
This is simply an audio journal of personal opinions only and we do not represent the voices of the teams we are a part of. For more information on the disclaimer, it can be found here.

Season Summary
Season 1 begins as an experimental platform. Each episode tackles our areas of interest and discovering architecture’s identity within it. Naturally, as we are fresh graduates and are still studying, a lot of our opinions are drawn from what we have grasped from architecture school.
Season 2 explores issues that frequently surface in architecture school, students and graduates that are often discussed yet not prevalent in the media.
Season 3 // Is This What You Wanted? is a collaboration with my dear friend Jina He, where the both of us take turns interviewing friends and mentors who have used their architecture background to continue or branch away from architecture!
Season 4 // Hero Phenomena is an homage to my past entries and episodes that I’ve recorded. My personal farewell to my teens as we move onto new adventures.
Just a thought… is filled with bite-sized recordings that inspire to open conversation starters on topics we hear all too often. These will peak in and out of season recordings!
Season 5 // Do I Have The Right To Teach? is an inquisition on what it means to teach design, otherwise use design as a mechanism to share knowledge!
